So umm...how exactly does a team lose??? One would THINK that a team loses by their boat sinking...but two things come to mind to shoot that theory down. 1) Seems pretty hard to 'unsink' a canoe in a pool. 2) This game doesn't look too...Productive, for a lack of better word. As in, I'm not seeing much water in people's boats. So how does one win or lose at this strange game??? And if you DO actually SINK another's boat, how long does that really take!?
shelly shelly... it doest make sense. There isnt much water in the boats in these because we had just started. And it is possible to unsink a canoe in a pool. There is a bottom to the pool that youcan see.. And the canoes dont SINK sink They just are underwater but dont go to the bottom. And secondly the game is played with 10 canoes in the pool with 4 people in the canoes each person has a bucket or a lid of some sort. You are not allowed to take water out of your own canoe and cant hold on to the walls. You play three 15 min. rounds and the first boat that sinks gets 0 points 2-1point 3-2points and so on so if you are the last boat still a float in the pool you get 10 points then you play anothe round of the same thing. your points add up in the three rounds and who ever has the most points at the end of the night wins. Then your points add up in the season and our tournament starts in the middle of march. ANd sinking a boat doesnt take that long because you have four people in the canoe who are doing there own thing and leaning you tip the boat and everyone basically sinks themselves a lot by tipping the boat and getting water in. do you understand now?
