Trip to Reunion Site

Hey, I just thought I'd throw out this bit of information for those of you who are caravanning to the Reunion with us. I mapped it out and from our place it's gonna take 5 hours and 10 minutes to get there! If we are supposed to be there at 3pm we will need to leave AT LEAST by 9 am to include gas stops, Potty breaks (more than normal with a 4 yr old on board), Food stops, and we will be towing a trailer, so our speed is also in question. It is a lot of mountainy roads with nasty switchbacks. So.... Just so you all know. Lets definitely get our shopping done on Saturday night the 31st while we're all here so no one is getting up at 6 or 7 am to make a run to Wal-Mart before we leave. I also mapped out from Rexburg for Sam and Shy and Adam. 4 hours 16 minutes going through Arco and Mackay. Good luck!
Just thought you'd all like to know.....

I just used the website that was linked to the may family ranch page. It is even farther than the town of Clayton, and it's all mountain roads...so that could be where the time difference is. I will keep checking.

Hmmm, I have no idea what the deal is , cause from one site to another is a BIG difference. From the google page the Ranch gives, it is showing to get there the same route but you have to continue on past clayton another like 20 miles or so but the speed you can travel may make it slow going....???? I really have no idea. We would love to go the north route where it's a lot prettier and go through horseshoe bend and go on the Banks/Lowman highway. it adds about a 1/2 hour on to the trip but its a lot prettier. Its also the way all the locals go to get to Stanley as well. Again... ?
