WHAT I HAVE LEARNED IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS

1. I have learned that I am never too old to kiss my father's cheek or to give him an affectionate squeeze every time I see him.
2. I have learned that when I get the feeling I should call one of my children, I had better not ignore it.
3. I have learned that people know more about you than you think, even if you just met them!
4. I have learned that an exhausting day at work can be washed away by standing barefoot in the creek for two minutes, allowing the water to carry your cares downstream before entering the house.
5. I have learned that 14 year old boys can grow a whole inch in one week!
6. I have learned that being home alone is wonderful and relaxing.....but only for three days. After that it is just plain boring.
7. I have learned that you can keep on going even when you think you can't.
8. I have learned that the less time I have to work with, the more I get accomplished.
9. I have learned that 17 year old boys tell their mom they love them by sitting right next to them in public, allowing their mom to rub their back, right in front of their friends.
10. I have learned that I have much more to learn!
