Look's like a family reunion in June is not going to be possible. Shyanne will be in the middle of a semester and hopefully Stephen will be too. If Stephen goes on a mission, we will try to have a reunion just before that, if not, we will try for some other time. If you have any suggestions, we are open......it really is time to start our own family reunions.
By the way, this blog is a little stale..........come on family.........we want to see some action!! I know things are happening in everyone's lives.........kids grow.......parents are made......life happens......time to share!!

So everyone.....please put your two cents worth in. Who can make it, and who can't? (We are trying to decide what we are going to do next summer, and our plans are dependent on this.....) Who WANTS to have a Family Reunion next year?
PIck me, I do. I say sometime between july 23 and august 6. I just threw those dates out there. They mean nothing to me. I will go when ever is t may be. I still say that the guys canoe thing is a god idea. Silver dollar city day maybe for those that would like to go. That's just an idea means nothing to me. Have grandma and grandpa claybrook over one night and maybe they can tell us some stories that we havent heard before, maybe some about mom and dad. And another night Grandma willis can tell us a story or two that we haven't heard, maybe something about grandpa. Clean up the park day, our park. Rebuilt the back part of the roof. Make and amazing rock entryway out where the driveway meets the road. Has anyone been to George Washington Carver place? I haven't, learning about peanuts sounds good. Pee ridge or something like that is close by too. Glow in the dark frisbee in the field. Mom does need a picture with all of us, it doesn't have to be a "professional" one but I'm sure there are plenty of cameras in our family that we can get a professional grade photo. Haul off the old pinto, cause lets face it dad its beyond help. I don't think that the frame can be salvaged. I'll restore one with you to brand new within the next twenty years. And the other junk cars i think that we could manage to haul off too. I say that we call this a build our mansion reunion.... Again all these are just suggestions. I don't care what we do, as long as everyone is there. I was just throwing out random thoughts and ideas you don't have to take any of them seriously. I just never put in my 2 cents now I have.
Ok....the date of the reunion will need to depend on if the Schloegels will want to reschedule their vacation to Missouri that they planned for the first of June.....that was the reason why we were thinking the date for then would be good,but we have students in the middle of the semester then. So everyone will have to check with Shelly and Adam......I suppose it is up to then if we want to have a reunion during the summer when NO ONE is in school. I love Samuels ideas about fixing the "mansion reunion"...the rock wall for the enterance, hauling off the Pinto and Festivas....um hmm...sounds good to me! It is all up to all of you......collaborate with each other and decide!
Ha ha ha...you guys are hilarious. Samuel. FEEL FREE to do all that you suggested. We will watch. :) j/k. okay, really NO ONE needs to get with us to decide when the reunion is. We are wide open as a bird...the only reason we were coming in June is because we WANTED to come beginning of May, but then realized Kadence would be in school til end of May, and June was the next least hottest time. So our ideal vacation is ruined anyway, so it doesn't matter when we come. So since July is being thrown about I'm gonna say end of July for my birthday. It's just an idea, it means nothing to me. It's a go for the boys canoe trip from Adam's point of view. Silver Dollar City is a GREAT idea. Though it's just an idea, it means nothing to me. Again, I'm all for renting the pool, going bowling, eating eating eating eating eating and enjoying moms cooking. It's just an idea though, and it means nothing to me. That's all. Thought I'd put my two cents in. No one contact us to throw the responsibility of the reunion date on us. We will come when everyone else is there. We have no commitments next summer. And I just have to say Sam, I think that's the longest message I've seen you write...I was gonna say that's the most I've heard you talk, but well, we all know that's not true! :)

We are open for whatever....we just need to know when to start planning Seth's vacation time around all the other things that we have to do next summer. Seth is very excited to go on a canoe trip with all the guys....so we need to get all the guys there. :) I'm sure Seth would be fine with helping clean up the place, as would I, but we need to make sure we have some good family fun too!! Big birthday parties sound good as well....Shelly's, Adam S, and now Sophie's.....fun stuff. Silver Dollar City sounds fun. I know Seth would love to go. Whatever works for us. (We don't have to travel very far, so it's way easier for us than for anyone else.....) Let's get planning!!
