1. She LOVES to dance. Especially in the car or while watching a movie. Music=dancing, and she's getting really good at it.
2. She can talk like a duck…..….it’s hilarious.
3. She LOVES bath time.
4. She loves cheese!!
5. She loves to play in the grass!
6. She loves books! Her favorite is “Good Night Sweet Butterflies”.
7. She loves yogurt!
8. She loves to climb the stairs and she loves playing on them.
9. She is far-sighted. Which means that when she is older she will become near-sighted, and have to wear glasses.
10. She loves to go on walks.
11. She loves to brush her teeth, and loves playing with her toothbrush.
12. She loves to open drawers and pull everything out of them. She has taken everything out of her dresser….multiple times….multiple times A DAY!!
13. She loves seeing dogs, and hearing them bark. (But, she doesn’t really like dogs….she’s kind of scared of them.)
14. She loves to give kisses and hugs.
15. She loves to “help” with the laundry.
16. She loves drinking from cups! We are a bottle free house! HOORAY!!
17. She loves being outside, and will pound on the backdoor until we take her outside.
18. She loves to swim….as long as the water is warm. If it’s cold…….NO WAY!!
19. She LOVES when daddy comes home from work, and always gets really excited to see him.
20. She still has blonde hair..…..VERY blonde. Not red. Not brown. It’s blonde.
21. She is a social bug, and a little bit of a show off.
22. She is so dramatic!! She coughs dramatically. She whines dramatically. She cries dramatically. She even sneezes dramatically...……oh the drama.
23. She plays very well by herself……that makes my day easier!
24. She cries every morning when daddy goes to work….she sure loves her daddy!
25. She loves shoes and shoelaces. (Keep the closet door closed!!)
26. She loves to say the “pop” in “Pop Goes the Weasel”.
27. She loves to go shopping.
28. She loves to talk.
29. She loves playing with her “legos” with daddy.
30. She loves to sing “Old McDonald”, “Pop Goes the Weasel”, and “How Much is That Doggy in the Window”.
31. She likes to play “Ring around the Rosies”.
32. She wants to eat whatever you are eating. It doesn’t matter if there is food in front of her she wants what you have.
33. She makes so many of the same facial expressions as her daddy.
34. She will NOT let you put anything on her head or in her hair. She’ll pull it out within seconds.
35. She finally likes wearing shoes!! HOORAY!!
36. She doesn’t mind taking Tylenol. (I actually think she likes it. Weirdo.)
37. She will go and get her blanket and say “nap” when she is ready for her nap. Too easy.
38. She loves to walk around the house carrying a washcloth or the kitchen towels.
39. She likes to sort things into piles. She’ll put everything on the right of her, and then move everything to the left.
40. She loves to play with stuffed animals and dolls. Her favorites are her new Cabbage Patch and a stuffed dog her cousin Daphne gave her when she was born.
41. She walks around the house crying for daddy….every day. She is such a daddy’s girl.
42. She knows 37 words.
43. Sophie loves to clap her hands, and loves having her stuffed animals clap too.
44. Sophie knows a lot of her body parts…..the newest being “bum”….yep, she knows where her bum is. We are running out of body parts to teach her.
45. She loves to color with crayons…..and is very messy at it.
46. She loves to sing the “e-i-e-i-o” in Old McDonald’s Farm.
47. She loves to look at the pictures on the camera. If you pull the camera out, she won’t stay still long enough to take a picture….she’ll try to come and see the back of it to look at the picture of herself. Very annoying!!
48. She knows how to “swipe” daddy’s ipod…..I’m not sure if this is a good thing.
49. She is obsessed with buttons. On, off, on, off…..especially the tv. Or the surround sound. Or the remote….I guess it doesn’t really matter. A button is a button.
50. She loves to walk backwards…..and always runs into something and then laughs. Silly girl.
(I now have more respect for Shelly.....coming up with 50 things about your 1 year old is no easy task.)
