We are proud to say that we belong to the 10% of the magic EFY brings. AKA....the unwritten statistic of EFY that counselors meet and end up getting married. Here's the Reader's Digest version:
We were both part of the BYU-Idaho BC team. Our first week in Provo we were paired up as partners.
We had a mini date...with mini s'mores. Literally. How cute. Tender.
Anyway, the magic began there....and it just got better and better.
Now we're engaged.
The end.
Here are a few facts about the future Mrs. Aubrey Claybrook:
1) She loves sugar. It's a weakness.
2) She graduated from BYU in English and taught 6th grade last year.
3) She has an older sister and a younger brother.
4) She's hooked on Smallville now...thanks to Sam.
5) She loves to eat...and sometimes outeats her lovely fiance.
6) She loves to have fun and laugh...and has a plethora of laughs still undiscovered to mankind.
7) She loves to sleep.
8) She is a native of Salt Lake City.
9) She is very outgoing and loves to meet new people.
10) She never thought she would end up marrying someone from Missouri and living in the burg.
11) Last of all, she's just perfect for me. (says Samuel)
You may shed a tear or two now.
We're getting married in the Salt Lake temple on December 21, 2010. How aesthetically pleasing does that look to the eye? 12.21.2010. Pretty darn I'd say.
