TIME TO BE THINKING AND PLANNING

I think I have talked to everyone by now about this but I am posting it so everyone will be reminded......The first official Shell and Susan Claybrook Family Reunion will take place next year, the first or second week in June, 2010, (depending on which week is Youth Conference for Scott). We need to have a family gathering before Stephen leaves for his mission, hopefully in June around his birthday. Everyone be writing down some activities and things you would like to do, and we will get everyones ideas, throw out the impossible ones, and consider the rest. I promise, Adam S. there will be no programs, no sing-a-longs, and no skits! We will start our own traditions with things we like to do. Some suggestions so far......Bowling, Silver Dollar City, renting the local pool, going to the lake and renting a house boat, canoeing, taking a "real" family photo.........put in your 2 cents worth, we need all the ideas we can get!! We will just start this one by staying here at our house, and doing things from here. So far there are only 17 of us, but I hope to have an addition or two to the family by then!! So start talking about it, and put it on your calendar and as soon as we know which week for sure, we will let you all know.

Happy planning!!

Capitol Fourth Concert with the Sesame Street Muppets and Natasha Bedingfield

I found this on youtube its a lot better than my video so I thought I would show a little bit of what we did on the fourth! There will be more on our blog of the concert, parade and fireworks! It was awesome and a lot of fun! Each one of the muppets sang a solo their own theme song I guess and then sang together with Natasha.

Please Forgive Me

Please forgive my lack of motivation in keeping up with the families' Upcoming Events. If you have anything you need to add to the calendar (on the right) let me know and I'll get it on there ASAP.

What's happening in everyone's life? We haven't heard from anyone for a while. :)

Thew theives, Thew filthy little thieves, GOLAM GOLAM

So this morning I wake up and get ready to go to my bishopric meeting, go out to my car, sit down and notice that my center console lid is open. Hmm this is weird, I don't remember leaving that open. So I look inside and it is all empty. No IPod, no FM transmitter, no IPhone charger, no pocket knife, no coins that I had floating around in there, and to top it all off my 4 cell, most favored Maglite flashlight is no where to be found. I'm not really mad or upset about it, cause lets face it there is nothing that I can really do about it. I called the cops and they came and did their stuff and said that there was another theft reported across the road. So moral of the story is mister thief got a thrill, but maybe one day it will come back to haunt him. Meanwhile I'm sleeping with a knife next to my bed in case he decides to try to get inside.
