Adam's List of 100 (and yes, it really is Adam's, not mine)

Hey everyone, I got Adam to do his! I had to take notes over an evening, there was no way I was gonna get him to sit down at the computer and write them himself. So he talked, and I scribed. So 99% of these are straight from his mouth. Okay, well, more like 75% I guess. The others I edited. :)
Here goes!

1. I have an outtie belly button.
2. I have owned 6 cars.
3. I have had 15 jobs:

4. When I was little I wanted to be an archaeologist.
5. I have an Uncle Carl and Aunt Kathy and they are married to each other.
6. I played soccer for 6 years, when I was 9-15.
7. My favorite food is Ropa Vieja. (the equivalent of a Poor Mans stew.)
8. I used to collect POGS when I was little.
9. I always knew I wouldn’t marry a local girl because I wanted to “go away” to meet the in-laws.
10. I’ve had 19 pets in my life, and that doesn’t include fish or hamsters.
11. My least favorite food is deep fat fried cauliflower. (yes, I have really eaten it.)
12. I can’t stand to eat plain chocolate. There has to be something IN it.
13. I hate dill pickles and detest the smell of them.
14. I will not eat onion or tomatoes or anything with them in it. But I do like salsa and I will eat tomato paste, ketchup and the like. Just other things with them in it, won’t touch them.
15. I enjoy fantasy fiction and science fiction.
16. I am the only boy with 3 older sisters.
17. I stopped a stabbing on my mission.
18. My favorite books are Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series.
19. I like to read. On average I read 24 books a year. Average book size is 600 pages.
20. I have never been snowboarding.
21. I have been to 21 states and D.C. and 2 countries.
22. I have never been to Texas.
23. I have lived in only 2 states.
24. If I could go anywhere in the world besides back to my mission, it would be Italy.
25. I like to wear blue.
26. I’d rather teach than be taught.
27. In college I was going to get a tattoo of a dragon on my left shoulder blade, but I chickened out.
28. I cannot name all 50 states and their capitals.
29. If I had a week to do anything besides travel, I would read.
30. I would love to learn how to be a professional chef.
31. My dream car is a black Dodge Viper with black tinted windows.
32. If I had to choose one modern convenience to live without for the rest of my life it would be TV.
33. My least favorite chore is dishes.
34. My favorite chore is yardwork.
35. I once pushed my sister off of the top bunk onto my grandma’s head below and laughed.
36. I’ve only dated one girl my parents liked.
37. When I was little I took piano and viola lessons.
38. I would love to be able to sing.
39. I’ve been in 3 car accidents. But I was a passenger in one of those. One I took a corner too fast and slid on gravel and off the road, the other I rear ended a car while I was on a date, but the other car never stopped so I could tell them!
40. My favorite movie of all time would be the original Star Wars trilogy. Especially Return of the Jedi.
41. My favorite computer game is Battlefield 1942.
42. My favorite cartoon growing up was Voltron.
43. Scariest movie I ever saw when I was little was TROLL. So scary that I hadn’t seen it again until I was married when I rented it. It is now the dumbest movie I have ever seen.
44. I had a crush on my best friends mom when I was 9. Julie Fox. She was quite the woman.
45. The weirdest foods I ever ate on my mission (besides the deep fried cauliflower) were shark fin soup and homemade goat cheese. It was stored in an ultra sized pickle jar with all kinds of herb branches and was in a greenish yellow oil. It looked like a pickled brain. It was actually really good!
46. I only had 2 companions my first year on my mission. That encompassed 3 areas, and 2 islands.
47. I drove illegally the whole time on my mission. None of the missionaries had Spanish licenses because they were about $2,000 to acquire.
48. I’ve had 2 knee surgeries.
49. I ALWAYS burn myself (badly) when I cook. At least once every time I cook, which is actually a lot.
50. One of my worst cuts I have given myself was from—you guessed it—a butter knife. And I’ve got the scar to prove it! I should have got stitches. And I was doing dishes when it happened! Shelly always makes fun of me for it.
51. I’ve never gone hunting but I like to shoot squirrels best. But only in Missouri.
52. I could never have been a bachelor. It’s too boring.
53. I did not enjoy scouts growing up and I did not get my Eagle Scout.
54. I hate country music.
55. I’ve only had one ticket in my life. For running a red light. The cop that pulled me over was pulling over the boss’ kid!
56. I can’t think of anything mean I’ve ever purposely done to any of my sisters growing up. But I did accidentally split my sisters head open with the recliner.
57. The biggest trouble I was in growing up was when I snuck out of the house with my buddy when he was staying the night. We snuck out to meet a girl to go TPing. I got grounded from my friend indefinitely. I was 10.
58. I was too young to remember meeting my grandpa on my mom’s side. He died when I was one.
59. I was hugged by James E. Faust when I was 7.
60. I have worked security at a Collin Raye concert.
61. I met Paul and Ty Pennington from Extreme Makeover Home Edition and got Ty’s autograph for Shelly.
62. I was at the LAX airport while the movie Rat Race was being filmed and I got to see some of the actors.
63. I used to wear blue colored contacts but I can’t stand to wear contacts anymore.
64. I wear glasses but only at work for night driving.
65. Clowns creep me out.
66. I am scared of sharks.
67. I am awkward around midgets. I don’t know how to act.
68. I like to sing in the shower. A lot. But I can’t sing.
69. I had braces for 4 years from 7th-11th grade. I even had head gear for the first year.
70. My dad is a convert to the church and my mom wasn’t active all growing up. My dad got baptized after my oldest sister was born and that’s when my mom became active.
71. My last name is really supposed to be Cella. (pronounced Chella.) The name Schloegel is not blood. My great grandfather’s last name was Cella but was adopted by a Schloegel. Cella is Italian, Schloegel is German.
72. I like to eat Peanut Butter and Cheddar Cheese sandwiches.
73. “Daddy’s Sandwiches” make me want to vomit.
74. I hate graham cracker pie crusts.
75. Cherry pie is my favorite.
76. I don’t care for holidays.
77. I do not like to play card or board games. But mostly just with the Claybrooks. I HATE losing!! (shelly: YES! What a compliment to us! We are the WINNERS!!! ☺ j/k.)
78. French is the next language that I will learn.
79. My favorite class in high school was Sr. English. In college it was Bowling.
80. If I wasn’t a cop I’d like to be a professional instructor.
81. I do not like teaching kids.
82. I would rather live without deodorant than toothpaste.
83. If I had to lose one of my senses, I would choose to be deaf.
84. I would love to have the know how to restore old cars. Especially a 1965 GTO.
85. I gag when I brush my teeth too.
86. I am allergic to bee stings and have had to go to the E.R. because of it.
87. Before Sam’s apartment was his apartment it was my apartment.
88. I always wanted to join the military and be a linguistic specialist but Shelly won’t let me.
89. I used to wear nightgowns when my other pj’s were dirty.
90. I cannot sit with my back to a room or a doorway.
91. Someone tried to run me over in their car at Ricks. It was a student and he was ticked because I gave him a parking ticket.
92. A woman I arrested bit me.
93. I have performed CPR on a 94 year old man. He didn’t live.
94. I can’t root for any one team. It’s too stressful.
95. I get motion sickness easily.
96. I broke my best friends collar bone in the 3rd grade.
97. I had to take Freshman PE with a bunch of silly girls when I was a Senior.
98. I fell out of our tree in our backyard when I was 14. I got compression fractures in my back that are still bothering me to this day.
99. My worst nightmares involve my teeth falling out!
100. I wheeze like an old man when I laugh too hard.
