It was pretty wet around here on Thurs. We had one of those great storms all night long that thundered and lightninged and rattled the house and dumped 4 inches of water in less than 10 hours. Everywhere was flooded. Stephen had to take his GED test that morning and had to get to the car by crossing the wires and had to wend his way to Joplin and avoid all the flooding roads and nearly got washed away. A tornado that ripped through southern Oklahoma and tore away some of Dad's building and he is now heading down there to assess the damage and get fixed what he can. I hope this is the last of our drenching rain for the season, but I won't count on it. I would like to work outside and get some cleaning up done and some garden planted sometime!!
